The more I looked at this pedigree, the more I fell in love with it and the dogs in it. It is combination of fantastic dogs that have proven to be worth to take into account in this breed. It will be 4th generation of bitches bred and owned by me and so special also in that way. They all have shown their qualities that are worth to preserve for the future generations.
Ludwigs pedigree is an interesting combination of old familiar beautiful Finnish dogs and some of the most successful US lines both that I have admired a lot. Both of these dogs in this combination are very similar in type with such a sweet temperaments. They have dense coat with small tight ringlets all over, lovely bodies, long low ears, level tight toplines, low hocks and the tails of the breed that I want to see in true irish water spaniel. They both have bone, substance and body that I also want to see in my dogs in future. One of the most important thing, they are both healthy dogs with lovely irish water spaniel temperement.

Ludwig is such a gentlemen with the character to die for! He is an easygoing boy with a big heart. He is lovely size male with great substance. He has strong bone, straight legs and balanced angulations. Ludwig has very dark brown almond shaped eyes that are nowadays rarely seen in this breed. He moves with reach and drive carrying his tail in proper position. He has level topline and lovely low hocks. He has a dark coat with small tight ringlets all over. He got his Swedish Show Champion title easily and has also shown his talents on the field work. He has already two 1st prize results in blood tracking. Ludwig has one lovely litter in Sweden at Coffees kennel.

Beates dam is Claire (Whistlestop's The Wind On fire) is one of the famous litter sisters to Merlin (Whistlestop's Elements of Magic) top IWS in UK 2012, 2013, 2014, Annah (Whistlestop's Fire and Ice), Bella (Whistlestop's Wind On The Water) and the most winning IWS in the history of breed in US Riley (Whistlestop's Riley On Fire). Claire moved to Denmark 2011 and then Sweden during her very successfull Scandinavian tour. She is multiple best in show winner, leading spaniel in Denmark and best bitch and CC winner at Crufts. Claire is top quality bitch with lovely balance and type. Beautifull head, excellent neck, wonderfull ribbs, optimum angulations and very correct coat.

Ludwigs sire Luca (Bogdog's Haakon) was lovely compact male with great barrel shape body. He had balanced angulation, great topline and low hocks. He has lovely tail set and carriage. He has lovely strong head and nose with low set of long ears. I admired his brother Bogdog's Assersaxe for years in the show ring. He was one of those catching the eye when entering the ring. These brothers had so much to like, so I am very pleased to see him in this pedigree! Luca was multitalented dog that showed his skills also in agility, obedience and blood tracking.

Martta is the sweetest, kindest and dearest lady that I have ever met, her heart is just pure gold and she is never in the bad mood. She is a beautiful and smart lady with great charisma, if she chooses so. She has a very classical elegant outline that I wish to see more these days. She also has one of the best coats and quality that I have seen these days. Her angulation is balanced; she has a great topline, lovely barrel shaped body and low hocks. She has stunnig head with lovely long ears and brown almond shaped eyes with kind expression. She moves with great reach and drive with her head carried in the proper position. She has the tail of the breed. She moves with lovely reach and drive and carries her head in the proper position. She achieved her Show Champion in several countries easily and is also International Champion (both CIB and CIE); she has gained CC’s and CACIB’s in several countries and has been group placed and best in show winner at Shows. She has shown her talent also in field and competes in the highest class in blood tracking being also tracking champion, she also passed the ability test with flying colors. She is also doing great in NoseWork and is about to move up to 2nd class.
Vickie’s dam Titta (click the name) is a beautiful, self-sufficient and smart lady with great character and charisma. She has a very classical elegant outline. Titta's sire, Harley, is from Marion Hopkins' very last Mallyree litter. Mallyree dogs are very famous for their excellent thick, tight, curly coats, correct small dark eyes and great, elegant outlines. Harley is a stunning male with a lovely outline. He has a handsome head, long neck and great topline. He, like all Mallyree dogs, has a lovely thick dense coat with a lot of curls. He moves with great long stride. He is just beginning to explore his abilities in the field.

Vickie's sire Roo (Sh Ch Fynder Rowdy Heckler) is a very eye-catching dog who captures the essence of this breed. He is a multiple Best In Show and Group Winner and has also earned his Good Citizen award. He has a well chiseled head with a strong square muzzle that is not overdone, a nice big nose and a kind expression. He has fabulous ribs and a level topline. Roo has excellent length of upper arm and lovely big feet. He has a proper tail set and carriage. He has a stable, self-sufficient, outgoing temperament that makes him stand out. He moves with a sense of purpose covering the ground positively and freely. Both his dam and sire lines have wonderful dark almond shaped eyes and heads with long, low set ears. Behind him is also a long line of dogs with excellent coats of tight small ringlets with no woolliness.

Roo's dam, Fynder Magic Seaweed (Marmite), has a very good head, skull shape and muzzle with lovely very dark eyes. Her best-known brothers are Sh Ch Fynder Seabiscuit of Glenderry and Sh Ch & Ir Sh Ch Fynder on Shifting Ground. They all have big ribs, level toplines, good driving rears and excellent coats. Her grand dam, Fynder Watersprite (Frisbee), is a small very typical working bitch with a tremendous coat, big ribs and small brown eyes. She has a fabulous temperament. She is already 13 years old. Marmite's sire, Max, Sh Ch Castlehill’s Quantum Leap for Fynder, is a US import and a very impressive male.

Marttas sire Jazi (Kandrelli Red Grouse is great sized strongly built male with lovely type and great profile. He has good barrel ribs and moves with nice carriage and typical rolling movement. Jazi has balanced head with correct stop, well shaped dark eyes and good skull. He has dense thick coat with tight curls all over. He has absolutely amazing open temperament!
Jazis famous litter mates are Sh CH Kandrelli Jack Snipe, Sh CH Kandrelli Button Quail (both IWSA BEST IN SHOW winners in UK) and Kandrelli Sand Partridge at Foulby (CC winner and BOB 2020 at Crufts).
