I have dreamed of making this combination since Tittas first litter was being born. There will be something old, something new, something borrowed and something very brown.
This combination will be breeding for type and character by Woody (Fynder Freethinker); one of the greatest characters and the most winning dog in the history of the breed in three different continents. This combination will cherish the right breed type with long low set of ears, lovely brown eyes, barrel shape bodies, proper toplines, right coat texture with tight curls and color, correct tail carriage and true Irish Water Spaniel movement.

Fynder Freethinker aka Woody, was bred by Pepi Barrington, UK, represented the picture of true Irish Water Spaniel. Woody had an impressive show career in UK, Scandinavia and finally in US. He can be found behind the most successful field and show dogs around the world and in several continents.
Woody had a lovely sweet temperament combined with breath taking appearance that you will never forget! He had stunning barrel shaped body with lovely proportions, steady topline and great bone without giving too heavy appearance. He had strong masculine head with lovely almond shaped dark eyes and very long low attached ears. He had full dark coat covered with tight ringlets all around. He moved with great reach and drive and with proper rolling.

Woodys sire is legendary C.I.B GB SH IE SH BIS Danoli of Currabell at Coleeville bred by Emer Mooney in Ireland. One of his greatest wins were Best in Show at Blackpool Championship show in 2000 and Cruft BOB win.

Titta's sire, Harley, is from Marion Hopkins' very last Mallyree litter. Mallyree dogs are very famous for their excellent thick, tight, curly coats, correct small dark eyes and great, elegant outlines. Harley is a stunning male with a lovely outline. He has a handsome head, long neck and great topline. He, like all Mallyree dogs, has a lovely thick dense coat with a lot of curls. He moves with great long stride. He is just beginning to explore his abilities in the field.

Titta's sire Roo is a very eye-catching dog who captures the essence of this breed. He is a multiple Best In Show and Group Winner and has also earned his Good Citizen award. He has a well chiseled head with a strong square muzzle that is not overdone, a nice big nose and a kind expression. He has fabulous ribs and a level topline. Roo has excellent length of upper arm and lovely big feet. He has a proper tail set and carriage. He has a stable, self-sufficient, outgoing temperament that makes him stand out. He moves with a sense of purpose covering the ground positively and freely. Both his dam and sire lines have wonderful dark almond shaped eyes and heads with long, low set ears. Behind him is also a long line of dogs with excellent coats of tight small ringlets with no woolliness.
Roo's dam, Fynder Magic Seaweed (Marmite), has a very good head, skull shape and muzzle with lovely very dark eyes. Her best-known brothers are Sh Ch Fynder Seabiscuit of Glenderry and Sh Ch & Ir Sh Ch Fynder on Shifting Ground. They all have big ribs, level toplines, good driving rears and excellent coats. Her grand dam, Fynder Watersprite (Frisbee), is a small very typical working bitch with a tremendous coat, big ribs and small brown eyes. She has a fabulous temperament. She is already 13 years old. Marmite's sire, Max, Sh Ch Castlehill’s Quantum Leap for Fynder, is a US import and a very impressive male.

Roo's sire Dexter (Holbain Devil Dexter) scores in breed type and head and has a stunning profile. Grandsire Ollie, (Sh Ch Antdela Oleander), scores in balance and correctly constructed front assembly. He is a compact dog with a pleasing masculine head with good length and squareness of muzzle, a well-shaped skull with good ear set, brown eyes and kind expression. He has a strong neck that is set into powerful forequarters, big deep chest with well sprung ribs, short coupled, nice rounded quarters with well-turned stifle and low set hocks. Profuse, dense coat of very good texture. Dexter's dam is Fynder Frieze who is a daughter of the beautiful Fynder Isabel.
