I have been following this gorgeous boy Aengus (BISS CH Fynder Reacher) growing from a lovely junior to a gorgeous adult male knowing that someday I would love to have a chance to use him for breeding for one of my girls. I must say that I feel so lucky that now we are soon reaching that point to connect these unique pedigrees between HOLLY (Woodrock's Holly Hades) and Aengus. Aengus pedigree is an interesting combination of old and very last of Mallyree lines, Green Socks, Realta and some fabulous Fynder dogs.

Aengus has so many great qualities to complement Holly adding substance, lovely body and bone. They both have dense coat with small tight ringlets all over, long low ears, level tight toplines, low hocks and the tails of the breed that I want to see in true irish water spaniel. One of the most important things, they both move with lovely reach and drive and carry their heads in the proper position.

This combination will hopefully produce dogs with lovely type, bone, substance and great character! I am so grateful and excited for this to happen. The previous combination with Fynder dog produced one of the best dogs in a while!

Aengus is a very impressive upstanding boy with size and substance so well balanced with it. He has an excellent classic irish water spaniel head with almond shaped dark eye and wedge muzzle also low set ear. He has a powerful arched neck, deep chest and well placed shoulders and strong loin. He has a firm compact body with plenty of rib. He has a glorious coat with crisp curls all over. He moves with great reach and drive effortlessly as his construction would suggest. He is a super character with the humour in attitude that the breed requires. He is a true irish water spaniel.

He became show champion with ease and won the irish water spaniel national specialty also last year.

Holly is the third generation of Woodrock's bitches and means so much to us all. She is a sparky bit smaller pretty image of her amazing dam Molly. She has lovely balanced outline with great front and prosternum and lovely rear. She has pretty head with brown almond shaped eyes and soft expression. She has full dense coat covered with tight small curls without any patterning. She moves with reach and drive with great step. She has great working attitude without forgetting the mind of her own. She is a quick learner and is eagar to learn.

She has already shown hear qualities in the show ring gaining several junior champion and winner titles. She is multible CC winner in several countries and will be gaining her champion titles after passing her ability test for spaniels hopefully next summer. She is competing in Winners Class in blood tracking where she moved with style by taking two 1st open prize results in a row. She is a great dog to work with and has already started her career also in NoseWork.

Woodrock's Holly Hades

Holly dam the great Molly is the second generation of Woodrock's bitches and very special for us all. She is the true star of our pack when it comes to outlook and personality. She is independent, self-sufficient and very smart lady and the kindest character you could imagine. She has inherited the greatest qualities of her dam Vickie. She moves with power with great reach and drive carrying herself all the way in the right position with level topline. She has full dark dense coat with small tight ringlets. Molly has sweet expression with brown almond shape eyes and long low set of ears. She has barrel shape body with just right proportions. She has straight strong legs and low hocks. Her tail is wagging all the time. She has multiple group placements and BIS wins both in Finland and abroad. She was just 1,5 years old when she won her first BEST IN SHOW win, now she has multiple. Molly has also shown her talent in the field work and she gained her blood tracking champion easily with five minimum required tests. She passed the hunting ability test for spaniels with flying colors.

Mollys dam Vickie (click the name) was one of the most interesting of the puppies right after the litter was born. She was the one everyone said, just wait and see, keep that one. Vickie is beautiful, very self-sufficient just like her dam and a very clever lady. She has a dense coat with small tight ringlets all over. She has a lovely body, level tight topline and low hocks. She has the tail of the breed. She moves with lovely reach and drive and carries her head in the proper position. She achieved her Show Champion in several countries easily and is also International Champion (both CIB and CIE); she has gained CC’s and CACIB’s in several countries and has been group placed and best in show winner at Shows. She has shown her talent also in field and competes in the highest class in blood tracking being also tracking champion, she also passed the ability test with flying colors. She is also doing great in NoseWork and is about to move up to 2nd class.

Vickie’s dam Titta (click the name) is a beautiful, self-sufficient and smart lady with great character and charisma. She has a very classical elegant outline. She also has one of the best coats and color that I have ever seen. Her angulation is balanced; she has a great topline, lovely body and low hocks. She moves with great reach and drive with her head carried in the proper position. She has lovely tail set and carriage. As was written in one of her critiques, "She is a premium package that is rarely seen in this breed." She is an International Champion and a Champion in several countries. She is also Specialty bitch winner and BOB winner at our Main Specialty. She completed her tracking champion title with straight 1st prize results from the 5 required tests and has now scored 10 straight 1st prize results in a row. She is now over 10 years old and going strong.

Titta's sire, Harley, is from Marion Hopkins' very last Mallyree litter. Mallyree dogs are very famous for their excellent thick, tight, curly coats, correct small dark eyes and great, elegant outlines. Harley is a stunning male with a lovely outline. He has a handsome head, long neck and great topline. He, like all Mallyree dogs, has a lovely thick dense coat with a lot of curls. He moves with great long stride. He is just beginning to explore his abilities in the field.

Vickie's sire Roo (Sh Ch Fynder Rowdy Heckler) is a very eye-catching dog who captures the essence of this breed. He is a multiple Best In Show and Group Winner and has also earned his Good Citizen award. He has a well chiseled head with a strong square muzzle that is not overdone, a nice big nose and a kind expression. He has fabulous ribs and a level topline. Roo has excellent length of upper arm and lovely big feet. He has a proper tail set and carriage. He has a stable, self-sufficient, outgoing temperament that makes him stand out. He moves with a sense of purpose covering the ground positively and freely. Both his dam and sire lines have wonderful dark almond shaped eyes and heads with long, low set ears. Behind him is also a long line of dogs with excellent coats of tight small ringlets with no woolliness.

Roo's dam, Fynder Magic Seaweed (Marmite), has a very good head, skull shape and muzzle with lovely very dark eyes. Her best-known brothers are Sh Ch Fynder Seabiscuit of Glenderry and Sh Ch & Ir Sh Ch Fynder on Shifting Ground. They all have big ribs, level toplines, good driving rears and excellent coats. Her grand dam, Fynder Watersprite (Frisbee), is a small very typical working bitch with a tremendous coat, big ribs and small brown eyes. She has a fabulous temperament. She is already 13 years old. Marmite's sire, Max, Sh Ch Castlehill’s Quantum Leap for Fynder, is a US import and a very impressive male.

Roo's sire Dexter (Holbain Devil Dexter) scores in breed type and head and has a stunning profile. Grandsire Ollie, (Sh Ch Antdela Oleander), scores in balance and correctly constructed front assembly. He is a compact dog with a pleasing masculine head with good length and squareness of muzzle, a well-shaped skull with good ear set, brown eyes and kind expression. He has a strong neck that is set into powerful forequarters, big deep chest with well sprung ribs, short coupled, nice rounded quarters with well-turned stifle and low set hocks. Profuse, dense coat of very good texture. Dexter's dam is Fynder Frieze who is a daughter of the beautiful Fynder Isabel.
